I am disappointed in myself but I got busy while I was in Murfreesboro and forgot to go see your mother. I did not realize what I had done until I got back to my father's on Thursday afternoon. Maybe I can get by the week beginning August 8. It bothers me a lot to have said I would do something and then fall short. My apologies for my lapse.

I do not have your new home address but did want to let you know how much I appreciated the plant the "3 Debbies" sent when my mother died recently. Her death was a shock to everyone concerned. I had been with her all day and was watching TV with her when she left to look for some receipts and came back to tell me she thought she was going to faint. It went downhill from there and she never regained consciousness.

Anyway, thanks again for remembering me.

I got my granddaughters when they were 1 and 3 and have enjoyed them in in the 2 years since. I am very happy for your whole family.

I'm trying to get some people together on Friday night. I will let you know.
