Obituary for Nancy Diane Randolph Hardy
OBITUARY
Nancy Diane Hardy of Hillsboro, passed this life on Sunday, September 22, 2019, at St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital in Murfreesboro at the age of 66. Funeral Services are scheduled on Friday, September 27, 2019 at 2 PM at Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home with burial to follow at Maplewood Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Thursday, September 26, 2019 from 5 – 8 PM at Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home.
Diane, a native of Tullahoma, was the daughter of the late Ernest Randolph. She enjoyed reading and crocheting. She collected angels. She was a very loving mother and grandmother and her favorite times were spent with her friends and family.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by daughter, Amy Hardy and brother, Ray Green.
Diane is survived by sons, Jason Randolph, Marlin Hardy (Lorie) and Casey Hardy, all of Hillsboro; grandchildren, Jason Randolph II, Joshua Caine Randolph, Marlin Hardy III and Emily, Raygan, and Houston Hardy and Carlee and Dallas Young and great grandchildren, Tyline, Mercy, Meagan and Maverick.

I had not heard that Diane had passed until now. She and I were classmates from day 1 of the First Grade at Normandy School. Her obit says she was from Tullahoma, and maybe that's correct, but from at least the time she was 4 or 5 years old (if not before) her family lived in Normandy right on the edge of the city limits on Cascade Hollow Road which is the road that goes out by George Dickel and on to Tullahoma. I don't think that house is still there.
I had not seen her or heard from her since the night we graduated back in '71...I'm glad to hear that she apparently had good and loving relationships with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and wish belated prayers for them as they remember their Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother.

I am very sorry to hear about Diane. I knew her only well enough to exchange hellos in the halls at school, but we all shared a special time and place, and she was one of our own.
