Obituary for Gerald Bruce Rollins

Gerald Bruce Rollins, age 67, passed away July 27, 2020 at St Thomas Rutherford Hospital. He was born in Bedford County and a resident of Rutherford County. Gerald was owner of Rollins Excavating and REC Pro Disposal. He attended World Outreach Church.

Gerald was preceded in death by his parents, Joan Blackburn Rollins and G.B. Rollins. He is survived by his wife, Dela Martin Rollins; sons, Riley Martin (Krystal Joy) Rollins, Gerald Bruce Rollins, II, Gerald B. “Tripp” Rollins III; daughters, Taffy (Mike) Reed, Crystal Rollins; brothers, Leslie Rollins, Kelly (Cindy) Rollins; sister, Jan (Jim) Bledsoe; grandchildren, Ashley (Phillip) Carrillo, Shay Reed, Ryder, Ryleigh, Brayden; and great-grandchild, Casey Carrillo.

Visitation with the family will be 4:00-7:00 PM, Wednesday, July 29, 2020 and 1:00-2:00 PM, Thursday, July 30, 2020 at Jennings and Ayers Funeral Home.

Chapel service will be 2:00 PM, Thursday, July 30, 2020 at Jennings and Ayers with Bishop Jimmy Tyson officiating. Burial will follow in Bradley’s Creek Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
