Please send some prayers for Grant Hitt! His daughter reports that he checked in for his heart surgery today. Due to the nature of the surgery, they won't be knocking him out completely - please say prayers that he doesn't feel any pain!! It's a minor surgery, so he should get to go home tonight or tomorrow depending on what time they start the surgery. She w'll keep everyone updated once he gets out of surgery (should be around supper time).  May be tommorow before another post.

Grant is home now and he is resting comfortably!!!  He has had two occurrences of SVT in last few years, so they did an ablation on his heart. It was successful.

As far as we know, the procedure was 100% successful and I am finally back among the moving now...and, boy, is that a good feeling

Hello, everyone, I've been "off the grid" again for awhile now, & it appears I have missed a lot. I am praying that both Evelyn and Grant are doing well now, & having a complete recovery. I really hope that all the birthdays that have come and gone have been joyful for everyone. I have thought about & missed all of you even though I was out of touch. Wayne Dillingham reports that some of us might remember Tony Pilkington (obit at the below link). He didn’t graduate with us.  But, I do recall our having been in school with him for several years.  I particularly recall our having been with him in Junior High.  He & Dwight Seagraves were very close friends.  So, I knew Tony as a result of my having played football with Dwight.
