I earned my Bachelor's degree in Education at MTSU, and received my Master's degree from Trevecca. I married my high school sweetheart, Frankie Swing, in 1974 and started teaching in 1975. I am currently working on my 35th year in the classroom. Frankie and I have two beautiful childen, Jami and Chase, and one lovely daughter-in-law, Alex. Chase and Alex have been married for two years and live in Texas. This has become our favorite vacation spot! Jami is still enjoying the single life. We have three grand dogs but hope to have some grandchildren one day soon to spoil.
