William Thomas Nelson 
(May 6, 1953 - April 18, 2003)

William Thomas Nelson, 49, of Antioch, TN passed away April 18, 2003 in Tunica, MS.

He is a native of Shelbyville, TN and was a retired Metro Nashville Police Officer and also worked for the Shelbyville Police Department and Fire Department. He was a member of the Baptist faith and a member of the FOP.

He is the son of the late Leo and Billie Melson Nelson.

He is survived by his sons, Chris Nelson and Bobby Nelson, both of Nashville, TN; brother, Larry Nelson of Hendersonville, TN; 1 granddaughter; 1 step-granddaughter.

Visitation will be Tuesday, April 22, 2003 at 10:00 a.m. until service time at 3:30 p.m. at Gowen-Smith Chapel. Rev. Bill Cartwright will officiate and burial will be at Willow Mount Cemetery.
